Toukley/Budgewoi Mothers Union Members attended the Lady Day Service at Newcastle Cathedral Celebrating 100 years of the Mothers Union in the Diocese of Newcastle on 26th March 2006.

Toukley/Budgewoi Mothers Union Soup and Damper Luncheon held on 27th July 2007 included a demonstration of beading craftwork.

Copy for MU Newsletter TOUKLEY PARISH At our July meeting, a delicious Homemade Soup and Damper Luncheon was enjoyed by the members and friends of St Lukes MU before listening to Beryl Frazer and Lorraine Feldman talk enthusiastically about the craft of beading. They provided a stunning display of their craft work which included Lampshades, Necklaces, Evening Purses and Wall hangings. Many of our group expressed interest in learning and were given personal demonstrations and advice on how to pursue the hobby.
